Anna Jensen is a curator, artist, writer, researcher and feminist based in Helsinki. She has MA’s in Aesthetics in the University of Helsinki and in Arts in Visual Culture in Aalto University. At the moment she is doing her PhD about art as a place for producing and mediating knowledge and as a site for communities. Most of the time she does not know what she is doing, but it is ok, as she believes in openness, intuition and is working with nonknowledge and uncanny. Jensen’s practice is often process-based, collective and site-specific, and dear lord she misses places and working together with people in places. Jensen is founding and active member of Porin kulttuurisäätö, known for Pori Biennial, Sandstorm and Pori World Expo, and been running an interdisciplinary and site-specific project called Space Invaders with Eliisa Suvanto since 2013. With Andrea Coyotzi Borja they have lowered their expectations with the How to Life project since 2018.
